well...looks like i'll be finding out how going home without a home is going to be sooner than Thanksgiving after all.

my mom called me at work this afternoon and told me that people from home have been trying to get in touch with me. as it turns out, my best friend Lisa's mom passed away over the weekend. so...i'll be taking an emergency vacation, flying out tonight at 10:30 pm and coming back on Thursday. staying with grandma, helping Lis do whatever she needs me to help her do. ben will be here, running the ship solo, taking care of the 'kids' and any house-stuff that may or may not come up.

:/ it sucks that i'm going home under these circumstances, but it's something i really, really want and need to do for Lis.
